Every year, the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD) awards SWaMmy Honors to a select handful of local SWaM businesses that are making innovations in their respective industries. SWaM — Small Women and Minority Owned — businesses are the cornerstone of the Richmond and Virginia economy.

This year, there were 200 SWaM business nominations and there were only 10 final winners. The Idea Center is proud to have been selected among the 10 Honor Recipients! Our entire team is so grateful to be selected for the award and the recognition.
